Responsive web design (based on Bootstrap) and custom WordPress theme development for Open Knowledge International (OKI), by request of Keitaro.
Open Knowledge International (OKI) wanted to create a modernized version of their initial WordPress theme, by keeping some specific existing functionality intact. The new WordPress theme was developed following the WordPress Coding Standards. It was developed for a huge blog farm of several hundreds WordPress websites running in a multisite network. All of these websites shared and built upon core theme functionalities, so backwards-compatibility with the initial OKI WordPress theme was crucially important.
The new OKI WordPress theme offers its core functionality without the use of WordPress plugins and it can easily be extended.
